Chen Family Temple Chen Family Temple, previously called Chen Clan Academy, is an ancestral temple of a clan in Qing Dynasty. With its grandiose scale and dedicated decorations, this is a representative local architecture in the end of Qing Dynasty, which is preserved in fairly good condition in Guangdong Province. It is the largest clan temple this province while it has the richest and the most typical architectural decorating arts in Guangdong area, reputed to be the treasury of the architectural arts of this area.
The Museum of Nanyue King’s Tomb of Han Dynasty The tomb of Zhao Mo, the King of Nanyue Kingdom more than 2000 years ago, is the largest and earliest color painted stone tomb of Han Dynasty in Guangdong area.
Six Banyan Temple This temple is a well known ancient temple in Guangzhou. Known as one of places of historic interests, it enjoys a history of over 1400 year.
Dr. Sun –Yat Sen Memorial Hall Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall is one of most representative architectures of Guangzhou and an important historical monument under special preservation in Guangdong as well as in China. It is a commemorating architecture built by the Guangzhou people and overseas Chinese, in memory of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, the great pioneer of Chinese revolution.
Guangdong Provincial Museum The new pavilion of Guangdong Provincial Museum was opened in May 2010. This museum has three parts: Part of History, Part of Nature, and Part of Art. Built by the standards of Advancing and First Rating in China, and displayed by the direction of Guangdong historical folklores, arts and nature, it fully reflects the unique stereotype of Guangdong cultures and its collection level.
